Nice SpotsProduced By Nice Shoes

John DiMaggio

John DiMaggio's philosophy of working leaner, faster and smarter developed over his 12 years of hands-on experience in post production. John's career, begun in the film-to-tape divisions of Manhattan Transfer and later Nice Shoes, evolved as the need for compressed web-capable spots came into high demand. It soon became apparent that a whole new array of media services was in the offing and John was at the forefront of the changes in the industry. In 2002 John was picked to head the newly created New Media Services division of Nice Shoes where he oversaw DVD authoring, spot compression, Telestreaming and encoding A/V for various digital archiving systems. By 2003 John and his team at Nice Shoes recognized that, in this new environment, the industry was capable of a much better, faster, easier, more streamlined way of working and developed a concept to achieve just that. That concept became Nice Spots.
