Tammy Michalek
Similar to Scott Treude, Tammy studied science in college, until that came to a screeching halt when she reached Organic Chemistry. She decided to take her love of talking to strangers to a new height by majoring in Spanish, a skill she only uses when traveling to the outskirts of Central and South America.
Tammy's career has been a mix of sales and marketing, spanning over the past ten years. Her career began by launching a sales division of Berlitz Translation Services in LA. After creating a successful team, she decided to work her magic as a matchmaker and launched new offices of the dating service It's Just Lunch in California and was eventually promoted and transferred to NYC. With the Internet craze just beginning in the late 90's, Tammy made the switch to marketing an online dating service, WebWoo, and became known as a Woo Master and was highlighted as an "Up and Coming Marketing Executive" by Success Magazine in 1999. After the woo's and woes of the dating world, she made the jump into the world of entertainment by developing the marketing strategies and product design initiatives for Word World, an animated children's show being released in 2007. To cap off a decade of working with start-ups, Tammy brought her entrepreneurial flare to Clear Channel, learning more about the traditional advertising medium of radio, fondly referred to as spots and dots.
And now, at long last, she has found her way into the Nice Spots family. Talking to strangers, spreading the word and being an evangelist for all things good at Nice Spots.
